FULL TIME:   Benefits Package

Care Manager - Entry Level - Full time, 40 hrs. per week w/benefits. - (1) position open.
BA Degree in Human Services field, valid PA driver's license and insured auto required,  Assesses, orders, coordinates and monitors critical in-home services to enable older adults 60 and above to remain in their home.  Must be proficient with personal computer/laptop, Microsoft Office Suite software, Android operating system cell phone and internet. Center Services - Site Coordinator - (1) part-time position (20 hrs./week).  Valid PA driver's license and insured auto required.  Responsible for the operation of Senior Community Resource Center in Bethel Park.  Computer proficiency and strong organizational skills a must.  Criminal background and Motor Vehicle Report checks required.  Resume only to LifeSpan, Inc., 314 East 8th Avenue, Homestead, PA  15120  Attn:  Kim Rollinson, Center Services Operations Director.

Facility Service/Courier -  (1) Full time, 40 hrs. per week w/benefits. Starting salary $12/hour.  Primary responsibilities include conducting preventative equipment and building compliance inspections, as scheduled, at all LifeSpan facilities.  Performing weekly courier runs to all LifeSpan Senior Community Centers.  Performing minor building repairs and resolving minor maintenance issues.  Advise Facilities Supervisor of any major repairs needed relative to buildings and/or equipment.
Qualifications:  High School Diploma.  Three years general building repair work to include basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.  Employee must possess the knowledge and skills needed to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance.  Employee must be able to perform physical labor including carrying, lifting and moving furniture and equipment in excess of 50 pounds.  Employee must possess the ability to work harmoniously with direct reports, co-workers and senior center participants.  Employee must have and maintain a valid PA driver's license.  Employee must maintain adequate personal auto insurance coverage in order to drive the agency vehicle used to fulfill job requirements.  Employee must have a clean clearance of criminal history from PA State Police or FBI.  Submit resume to Julia Huber, Fiscal Operations Director - LifeSpan, Inc. 314 East 8th Avenue, Homestead, PA  15120 - E.O.E.

LifeSpan Internship Program

LifeSpan in conjunction with local colleges throughout Allegheny County and surrounding areas provides opportunities for students interested in working within the aging network to learn, hands on, the tasks, skills and responsibilities of a Care Manager.  Students work one on one with the Care Management Staff.  Students get the opportunity to train alongside new care managers, attend training at the Area Agency on Aging, attend Resource Fairs, spend a day at a local Adult Day Care and Senior Center.  Instruction is provided in Protective Services, Aging Waiver and much more.  Upon completion of the internship, students will be HIPAA certified and obtain various other certificates and experience necessary to successfully pursue a career in the Aging Field.
