Meals on Wheels

LifeSpan’s Meals On Wheels (MOW)

LifeSpan’s MOW/HDM program is a state and federally funded program that provides healthy meals and wellness checks to over 800 participating Older Adults in Allegheny County. In recognition of the multiple needs of the “whole” person, the MOW program is committed to service, provision, and coordination within the broad realm of nutrition, health-related, and home care services.

These meals provide 1/3 of the Older Adult’s daily nutritional needs that are delivered by a dependable MOW delivery driver right to your home. Meals are delivered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (except on holidays) between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm. You must be at home to receive the delivery of your meals. This is to ensure a face-to-face health and safety monitoring check.
